About iS – Plus
iS-Plus provides service, support and offers additional products and services for the NEC/Philips Sopho iS3000 and 2000IPS communication platforms. If you have not visited our site before then you are most welcome to browse around and see how we can help you maintain and get the best from your Sopho equipment without being locked-in to the manufacturer’s proprietory solutions.
In addition to the experience retained in-house by our ex-NEC/Philips trained personnel, iS-Plus has a mutual partnership with Telematch BV of The Netherlands, a direct partner of NEC who provide additional technical support where required and through which we are able to source the latest applications and updates. Telematch BV are Certified Service Partners and Value Added Resellers of NEC and who have advised that the manufacturer has recently announced support of the Sopho iS-3000 System has been extended to at least 2021. Great news for existing users who are concerned about future support of the equipment.
Founded in 2001 as an independent communications maintenance organisation, iS-Plus offer support and maintenance to a diverse customer base across the UK in both the public and private sector.

In order to keep your system in tip-top shape and to ensure a quick response we will need remote access to the equipment. iS-Plus and it’s staff are fully aware of the manufacturer’s licensing terms and conditions associated with their software products and adhere to them at all times. Remote support has been achieved by using our vast SOPHO experience and technical expertise to develop and utilise alternative methods of access, thereby bypassing the legal restrictions imposed by the use of the manufacturer’s software. Rest assured, iS-PLUS Ltd would not knowingly undermine any client’s legal position by offering or undertaking services that are clearly considered illegal or unlawful.
[Due to our vast experience on the SOPHO range we are more than capable and willing to support certain older SOPHO components, that are deemed ‘End of Life’. See the dedicated page in our Products and Services section for further details.
