We’ve just completed the build of our on-line payment system on Salesforce with Income Systems. Paul and his team have managed the payment piece with professionalism and efficiency. Very easy to work with, fully understood our requirements and always quick to respond to our questions. We had a pre-existing on-line payment process and the transition from the old system to the new has been seamless.

Within a few clicks, customer service reps are able to easily and efficiently access customer details from within Salesforce and collect payment on the spot, whilst creating a payment record for ease of reporting.  Previously businesses would need to use multiple applications and then manually enter the payment information back into their CRM system.  Furthermore, because the application taps into open cloud technologies via the Salesforce Platform, customers can take advantage of a fully scalable solution that allows multiple agents to use the service on-the-go through its remote access functionality.

I recently celebrated my 5 years working at Sage Pay and it got me thinking about just how much the company has changed since those early days back in our cramped office in Soho. As a business, we’ve gone from a team of 25 to a team of over 250, we’re now operating across four countries and when I joined the company in 2007 we had just 15,000 customers. We now have over 40,000.

Of course, I can’t take ALL the credit for this expansion (ahem!). This comes down to a mix of organic growth within the industry, our commitment to constantly evolve product offerings, our super customer support teams and the work of the Sage Pay business partners who work continuously to stay up-to-date with new products and services an recommend us where they see a great fit.

And we like to think of it as a true partnership, just like Morecombe and Wise, Delboy and Rodney, Bert and Ernie.

Our teams work together to create bespoke campaigns, support new launches, develop sales and marketing support, create bespoke tools and even attend events together.

We currently have over 3,000 business partners and they keep us on our toes with brand new developments they are working on.

The latest of these is an integration with Salesforce undertaken by Sage Pay partner Income Systems, to allow businesses to seamlessly manage customer payments from directly within the Salesforce system.

This is the first solution of its type and we are proud to be associated with a partner that is leveraging cloud technologies to enable businesses to run in a more efficient way.
